TOP 15 ANIME MOVIES TO WATCH DURING THE CORONAVIRUS [COVID-19] QUARANTINE
The world is on lockdown, and everyone is jumping on their watch and read lists, consuming them at an alarming rate. Everybody is asking for recommendations about things to watch, and I’d like to recommend to you the following 15 Anime movies (in no particular order). Be warned, however: if you’re looking for happy-go-lucky movies with smiles and laughter, you will not find them here. I know that some people want to find an escape from real life through tv, but I much prefer watching well-made, apocalyptic animations during times like these. I find that I can immerse myself in the situation, and since most of them end on good notes, they don’t stir any anxiety, only intense fascination and awe. This list is full of Dystopian, and Post-apocalyptic themes, as well as a couple of pandemic-themed animes, for all of those who want to keep it real!
Social Distancing at its best.

11.Neon Genesis Evangelion (any of them)
新世紀エヴァンゲリオン
What I recommend: either watching the whole series. Or, watch Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth which recapss the 24 episodes of the serie and contiues on to the plot that will form the basis of the next movie you should watch: Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion. If you’re really into it you can then watch : Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, followed by Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance and finally Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. After watching all of these, we can both cry ourselves to sleep every night because there was supposed to be rebuild of the films by the end of 2020 but it’s probably going to be postponed due to the current situation. Evangelion is one of my favorite animes to date, I know it’s probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but I feel like its dark psychological doomsday vibes fit in with the situation.
