WOMEN OF THE WORLD. And Men. And everyone and thing in between that has hair on its scalp and wants to grow it. This post is for you.

send hair

I'm a fairly recent website girl/thing and I don't really have the credentials to assert something and have you believe it. But I really hope you do. Here's the story:

At one point in my life on this earth, I decided to cut my hair short, and I instantly regretted it because it made me look 6 years younger (I also have acne so that does not help). I hence started frantically researching stuff on the internet to make my hair grow longer, faster, and tried everything from eating a bowl of laban (Lebanese yogurt) everyday for 2 weeks (protein-rich foods supposedly help you grow your hair), to massaging my scalp with olive oil (stimulating the blood circulation near your hair roots supposedly also help you grow your hair), and applying coconut oil from root to top tip and leaving it as an overnight mask (coconut oil supposedly nourishes the scalp and you get the point). Some of these things barely worked, others did not work at all, point is, I was desperate. I somehow ended up on a video on youtube talking about a horse shampoo (bear with me) that had helped a girl grow her hair. This video led me to hundreds of other videos like it, all claiming said shampoo had worked wonders for them. Now yes, I was desperate, but I didn't want to try horse shampoo. I mean come on.

plz help

Anyway, during that period, I had a trip planned to New York, and while there, I got a huge rash/allergy on my skin and had to go to the pharmacy. It was a big pharmacy in Times Square, and my friend and I weren't liking the shampoo at our hotel so we also decided to swing by the shampoo and conditioner aisle to grab one. Lo and behold, there where gallons of Mane 'n Tale shampoo and conditioner sitting at the bottom of the aisle. Each gallon only cost 1.25$ (they were having a sale). I stared at it. It stared back. I grabbed it. And have never looked back since.

This shampoo works. That's it. Let me give you a bit of a backstory on Mane 'n Tail:

I am now beautiful.

I am now beautiful.

"Originally created on the Katzev family horse farm in rural New Jersey, the Original Mane ‘n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner were both targeted for show horses with long flowing mane and tails. The products worked so well on the horses that a few members of the equestrian community decided to try Mane ‘n Tail on their human hair. Owners saw that their hair became less brittle, stronger in overall structure, moisture-rich, and their hair had a healthier appearance. In no time, word traveled fast about how wonderful the products were and a new product for human hair care was born."

After using this product for a month, I started noticing a lot of new baby hair on my scalp, my hair was softer, fuller and it just looked nice. Now, I'm showering this product with compliments, but this isn't a miracle worker, has my hair grown faster since using it? yes. Has my hair grown fuller since using it? up to a point yes. Has it made my hair softer? yes. So why am I not calling this a miracle worker? because if you don't have a lot of hair to start with, it won't magically make it full after a month, because if your hair is damaged and bleached to death, it won't magically make it soft and pretty (But I've heard Olaplex is great). I have never tried a product I would define as a miracle worker, and I don't really think they exist, it's just false advertising.

Ever since I started using Mane 'n Tail, I have recommended it to a ton of people, and none of them have had a negative thing to say about it, they have all loved it (I'm not even exaggerating), and have continued using and re-purchasing it till this day, the few that have stopped buying it have done so because this shampoo is hard to find in Beirut (Wesley's sells it but they always run out of stock).

If I have managed to convince you, that's great and I really hope you look into it. If not, try doing your own research, you'd be surprised by the number of blog posts and youtube videos praising this product. You can buy it on Iherb for $8.41 (yes the price has gone up, you can use my code for 5% off if you want to:  "LKV995" ), or you can buy sets of it on Amazon.

Happy Hair growth.
