💧In-Depth Details Of Interesting ingredients:

Glycerine: Widely used as a quality Hydrator (occurs naturally in the skin and its chemical structure attracts water). You can find this ingredient in most good skin replenishing products

Niacinamide: Anti-aging (promotes collagen production and Ceramides synthesis) + Antioxidant (Against UV-induced photocarcinogenesis and photoimmunesuppression) + Anti-inflammatory ( reductions in the total sebaceous creation of lipids, overproduction is one of the major causes of acne)

Arginine: Antioxidant + Hydrating (acts as a humectant (chemical structure attracts and entraps water molecules)) + Anti-aging (increases collagen production through different pathways)

Adenosine: Anti-aging (collagen stimulation pathway) + Wound healing (collagen stimulation pathway) + Anti-inflammatory (inhibits neutrophils, white blood cells part of the inflammatory response)

Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate: Prevents hyper-pigmentation (Inhibits Melanin forming activity of Tyrosinase) + Help preserve hyaluronic acid content in skin)

Panthenol: Moisturizing (penetrates deep into the layers and gets converted into Pantothenic Acid (B5)) + Anti Acne (B5) + Wound healing (B5)

Rosa Centifolia Flower Water: Mixed with glycerin, it acts as a good moisturizer + Antibacterial + May act as an antioxidant.

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate: Stable form of Vitamin C

Tocopheryl Acetate: Most commonly used form of Vitamin E

Citrus Aurantium Bergamia(Bergamot): Not enough research concerning topical application

Glutathione: Potential skin whitening agent (Studies tend to show that the effects get reversed when topical usage is stopped)

Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract (Acai): Antioxidant (Flavonoids + polyphenols + Anthocyanins) + Vitamins A, C and E are all present in the fruit, but little research has been made on them in Acai (keep in mind that molecular forms and stability/penetrability/quality of these vitamins vary, so even if an ingredient contains them, it doesn’t always mean it actually does something when topically applied)

Sodium Hyaluronate: Hydrating (water binding properties) + Wound healing (promotes micro circulation)

Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract: Antioxidant (Polyphenols + Vitamin C) + Protects against UV damage (Gallic acid) + Anti-Aging (Resveratrol reduces production of enzymes that break down collagen)

Phyllanthus Emblica Fruit Extract: Antioxidant + Chelating

Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit Extract: Not enough research concerning topical application

Beta-Glucan: Protects against irritation and environmental stress (the molecules link together to form a barrier on the surface of your skin) + Antibacterial (stimulate white blood cells to attack pathogens) + Hydrating (acts as a humectant (chemical structure attracts and traps water molecules)) + Anti-aging (Boosts collagen production)

Natto gum: Vitamin E + Vitamin K2 (anti aging) + Gamma Polyglutamic Acid (Anti-aging, moisturizing, ten times more hydrating than hyaluronic acid)

Allium Sativum (Garlic) Bulb Extract: Antibacterial + Antifungal

Glycine Soja Seed Extract: Anti-inflammatory (flavonoids) + Anti-Aging (Elastin and collagen stimulating effects) + Photoprotection (Polyphenols)

Juniperus Communis Fruit Extract: Not enough research concerning topical application, but one In Vitro study points to it having potential Antioxidant properties.

Morus Alba Fruit Extract: Potentially reduces hyperpigmentation (Inhibits melanin forming activity of Tyrosinase) + Antioxidant

Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract: Antioxidant + vitamin E and fatty acids, anti aging (vitamin E plus vitamin B and Squalane) Antioxidants like beta-carotene and lycopene enzymes like CoQ10 provide active component

Rubus Fruticosus (Blackberry) Fruit Extract: Anti-Aging (Reduces production of enzymes that break down collagen) + Antioxidant (Scavenges free radicals)

Sesamum Indicum (Sesame)Seed Extract: Antioxidant + Moisturizing

+how to use the By Wishtrend Hours-long Moisturizing Gauze Sheet Mask

1) After cleansing, prep the skin with a toner.
2) Attach the mask over the face and wait up to 50 minutes.
3) Remove the mask and pat the remaining essence to promote absorption.

+what does the By Wishtrend Hours-long Moisturizing Gauze Sheet Mask do?

I don’t really use sheet masks anymore (no real reason), so I made my cousin try this instead, we're roommates and I closely monitored her skin the following days of the initial application for the purpose of this review. From the website: ‘‘This special care sheet mask uses Lanseal, a material with an excellent capacity for absorbing and retaining essence, to maintain moisture for up to 40 minutes. The mask also contains Glutathione, Niacinamide, and Adenosine to create bright and clear skin’’

1.Long-lasting hydration: The amount of hydration you get after using this mask is insane, your skin feels immediately refreshed, and the hydration and moisture last up to a day or 2, which isn't something most masks can achieve.

2.Improving skin tone and texture: I saw no difference in skin tone except for the fact that it looked brighter. Her fine lines were also blurred and plumped up and her skin was left looking and feeling very supple. There are lots of antioxidants, brightening, and anti-aging ingredients, continued use of this mask is sure to show consequential better results.

3.Brighter, clearer skin: Your skin is brighter due to it being more hydrated, and ‘clearer’ because you’ll look more awake.

I have tried a lot of sheet masks in the past, from really cheap to luxurious ones, many aren't that different from one another, but this one does (quality/ingredients/fit/results) so I personally think the price is adequate.

This is marketed as a moisturizing mask, but it’s actually more of a hydrating one (The sheet stays damp even after 50 mins). You’ll end up with intensely hydrated skin, and you might actually lose that hydration to the surrounding air, which is why I recommend using a light occlusive product like the Klairs Fundamental Ampule Mist to seal in the hydration if you live in a really dry climate. Otherwise, just make sure to pat in the product really well.

An annoying thing about this mask is that, although the fit is great as it’s composed of 2 adjustable pieces, the sheet is packed with so much product that it actually ends up sliding down your face midway through, which is a bit irritating since it was designed with the idea of it staying on your face for at least 20minutes. You’ll need to either readjust it as it slides down or use it while you take a nap.

Now would I recommend the By Wishtrend Hours-long Moisturizing Gauze Sheet Mask? I’d recommend having it around for special occasions (or sunburns) because it will make your skin look and feel very radiant and juicy, but make sure to apply it a few hours before your important event, because it leaves your skin feeling very tacky for quite a long time (use it before going to bed if you want to feel more comfortable). Although it’s a great product, I don’t recommend using it every day for the simple reason that it’s a waste from an environmental perspective, you’re better off investing in a brightening serum (like the SKIN&LAB Red Serum) or a hydrating one (like the Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Essence). I’d also recommend it to any skin types (there aren’t any particularly sensitizing ingredients, and there are good anti-inflammatory ones to prevent a potential acneic reaction, and if you have dry skin this will be heaven for you) except for oily ones: this is a pick me up product, and won’t be of any use to you.

+benefits:

  1. Very Hydrating

  2. Really good ingredients list

  3. Results last for 2 days

  4. Great pick me up product

  5. You’re left with a lot of extra product in the package, so you can pat it on the rest of your body.

-CONS:

  1. Leaves skin very tacky after you remove it

  2. The lower part tends to slide off after a while

🎋Score: 4.0/5 --- Great product, fulfills all its claims, doesn’t get a higher score due to the lower part sliding off.
