[REVIEW] Innisfree Wine Jelly Sleeping Pack (Before and After)

I don’t really use sleeping masks or packs, but winter has taken its toll on my skin this year for some reason, and my skin - although not dry - needs a little pick-me-up. Which is exactly what the wine jelly sleeping pack by Innisfree provides.

+what does the Innisfree Wine Jelly Sleeping Pack do?

1. Bouncy textured shape-memory jelly polymer firms the skin to keep it:

  • Smooth: Yes, my skin felt much smoother. I don’t really have huge skin concerns right now as I’m handling my acne and the scars it left behind, but I do have an issue with my smile lines and some fine lines that appear on my forehead when I’m extremely tired. Now, the wine jelly sleeping pack does not make them disappear in any way, shape, or form - with all the research I’ve made, I’m starting to get convinced that only fillers can achieve this- BUT, they do appear smoother. The product isn’t potent enough to dramatically change your skin, but, it’s texture make it so that it can ‘‘fill in’’ the fine lines, wrinkles, and cavity you might have on your skin, making them less apparent, which, you know, who wouldn’t want that.

  • Supple: Supple skin is skin that ‘‘bends easily without breaking or becoming deformed’’, my skin is already quite supple to begin with so I can’t really judge on that one, but since the mask brings moisture, and moisture combats loss of hydration, and hydration is a big factor when it comes to suppleness, I’m guessing that the wine jelly pack probably also achieves this results - if this is something you’re looking for.

  • Tight after exfoliation: Tight goes against supple, this is another example of words being used more for marketing purposes than anything else. By tight, they probably mean that your skin, if saggy, will appear tighter. But did I have any apparent results? No.

2. Powerful anti-oxidative polyphenol extracted from the queen of all wines, Château Margaux, revitalizes and moisturizes the skin after exfoliation: Skin always feels revitalized after a good night’s sleep, so I tried this product after sleeping just for 5 hours (which was easy to schedule because my life is hectic), and my skin did look fresher than it would have looked had I not used this. Did it look a thousand times more revitalizes? No. But it looked a bit better, and that’s all I can really ask for. As for moisturizes, yes, this is essentially a moisturizing sleeping mask, so it does achieve this, again, not the greatest moisture of my entire life, I wouldn’t die for this product, but it is pretty good.

If you’re someone that has really dry skin, this isn’t really going to do much for you, but if dryness isn’t a big issue, but you’d like to add a pop of it here and there, the jelly pack is great. Plus, it adds a nice glow to the face, makes fine lines appear less deep and smooths out your skin. Also, as someone with hormonal acne and sometimes sensitive skin, the sleeping pack did not irritate my skin in any way.

The mask is absorbed very quickly, and for days where my face looks like it’s been through hell, I use this after the orc pack tight skin , and it makes me look as if I’d had a good night’s sleep. Another interesting result I got is that it made my skin less red, due to the weather my skin was acting out with redness and the sleeping mask really lowered it. Now would I recommend this? If you’re looking for something like this yes, if not, maybe consider it, but don’t go out of your way to buy it.

  2. Wine/grape scent if you like that

  3. Fun memory-gel function

  4. Quick and easy application

  5. Moisturizes

  6. Affordable

-CONS

  1. Labeling can’t touch water

  2. Wine/grape scent if you don’t like that

🍷🍷🍷Score: 3.9/5 ----This product does almost everything it says it’s going to do. It doesn’t make huge promises, it’s not going to revolutionize your skin, but it’s a nice, fun, and basic sleeping pack, and everyone needs a nice fun and basic sleeping pack in their skin. It doesn’t get a higher score, because I like to give 4.0 and above to products that really impress me, and/or also work on making my skin looks better in the long run, not just in the moment or the morning after.
